Nothing to Exciting

Well I was going to try and add pictures of all the stuff (nothing to exciting) we have been up to. But for some reason it doesn't want to upload my pictures. We mostly have been busy with yard work and church callings and work. Like I said nothing to exciting.
As for the yard work it seems to be a never ending job. It's a lot of work. We rented a sod cutter and tour up different areas in our yard for garden plots, flower beds, a pathway to the front door. That was some of the best money we have spent renting that machine. It saved us hours and made the job a lot easier. I ran the machine it was easier then rolling sod. We moved tons of dirt had some brought in (talk about a waste of money) our dirt was way better then the stuff we paid for. Got the flower beds figured out, have been buying plants every since. We are still needing to get mulch but one thing at time. We also have to finish the pathway. I'm taking the reuse approach to this. We have just collected broken up concrete from different sites around and im trying to create a pathway to my front door with them. They will eventually have grass growing between them. I think its going to look great when finished but we don't have enough pieces yet.






Okay I started this post months ago and never finished it. So since then our yard looks way different. Are garden is doing really well I have had plenty of zucchini that I have had to give away tons of it. My beans and tomato's are ready for me to can. I have also been lucky and got free apples so I canned my first applesauce with a help of a friend. I also have peaches that I need to do something with.






Agian my yard has changed since I updated this, so I will have to get out there and take some new updated pictures sometime this week. As summer is almost over we still have some projects left to finish in the yard. Lucky for us we have some vistors coming in a few weeks that will love to help us. (Joels Parents)
