Charleston

Okay this post is long over due.  Joel actually had two weeks off from school at Christmas time.  So we took a trip down to Columbia SC to stay with the Golds for a few days and to be able to go to the temple.  It was wonderful to be with them.  Since Charleston is just another hour or so from there we did a day trip to Charleston, which was not quite enough time.  I really do want to go back.  The weather was perfect not cold and not to hot yet.  I have tons and tons of pictures because the houses and buildings are just so darn adorable.  I can easily understand why real estate is so expensive there.

We meet up with my friend Sara Tyre who lives outside of Charleston.  She was one of my favorite roomates out at Ricks.  She has 7 children and her husband is also in Nurse Anesthesia School.  They all loved Joel he wore them out making them run up and down all these stairs.

Funny thing we heard about this house is the couple couldn't agree on the style so she designed the right side and he picked the design for the left. 

After spending most of the day downtown Charleston we drove across the beautiful 8 lane bridge to get to Folly Beach.
